When the wings were closed, it reminded me of an arrowhead in shape...and looked rather"art deco" in design. I wish I had my camera with me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1013316887660017880.post-17906391019650898582010-05-25T12:33:29.857-05:002010-05-25T12:33:29.857-05:00Thanks DAHstra---I love them too. The picture you took is of an impressively large specimen.Shelly Coxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18367843308248195970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1013316887660017880.post-37370824286952810552010-05-25T09:24:44.836-05:002010-05-25T09:24:44.836-05:00I love these moths! The second caterpillar was photographed at Happy Holler conservation area, and I have no idea what plant it was feeding on, but it was large, well over 3 inches.Shelly Coxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18367843308248195970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1013316887660017880.post-80648913074901973052009-09-25T15:48:10.405-05:002009-09-25T15:48:10.405-05:00Wow.
