This one was a unique find, and I felt fortunate to have been able to photograph her while her babies remained with her. It was a bit tricky at first, she kept running "At" me, and I must say she was FAST! I had to scramble out of her way a few times. We tried counting the babies (the ones visible in the photo, anyway), but soon gave up. What a glorious tangle of legs and bodies! Luckily we humans usually only have one baby at a time, so we don't have to carry a hundred babies around on our backs like this spider!Kenton and Rebecca Whitmanhttp://www.wildaboutnatureblog.comnoreply@blogger.com
